Rishika Jhamwani and Aparna Srivastava, students of Class 9 and 12 at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 in Rewa, have been given the prestigious opportunity to elevate Vindhya’s pride from the Red Fort.
Once again, the land of Rewa has made its name shine with pride. This time, the proud moment comes as two talented daughters of Rewa, Rishika Jhamwani and Aparna Srivastava, are set to raise the prestige of Vindhya from the historic Red Fort of India.
Through their talent and dedication, these young girls are bringing not only Rewa but the entire Vindhya region into the spotlight.
Rishika in 12th Grade, Aparna in 9th Grade
Rishika Jhamwani of 12th grade and Aparna Srivastava of 9th grade, have been selected for a prestigious opportunity. The school’s principal, Mrs. Mahalakshmi Pandey, expressed her joy over the students’ achievement.

A matter of pride for Kendriya Vidyalaya
From 13th August to 15th August 2024, these brilliant students, Rishika Jhamwani and Aparna Srivastava, along with parents and escort teacher Nutan will meet the concerned ministers and senior representatives and share their views with them. During her scheduled visit, she will visit Parliament, Nehru Planetarium, National Memorial and India Gate.
They will get a chance to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech at the Red Fort during the Independence Day celebrations. It is a matter of pride for KV No. 1 Rewa and Jabalpur division, these girl students along with their escort teacher will represent KVS as a member of ATL Innovation Mission NITI Aayog.
Representing Vindhya from the Red Fort
During the event at the Red Fort, Rishika and Aparna will present the culture, traditions, and folk art of their region on a national and international stage.
They will bring the cultural heritage of the Vindhya region to the forefront, further strengthening the identity of Rewa and Vindhya.
