There’s been a very sad accident in Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s family. His brother-in-law, Rajesh Tiwari, who everyone called Munna Tiwari, passed away in a car crash. The accident happened near Nirsa Chowk on CT Road in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, on Saturday evening. Pankaj’s sister Sabita Tiwari got hurt too.
Rajesh and Sabita were traveling from Gopalganj, Bihar, to Chittaranjan, West Bengal. They were going to watch the shooting of a movie Pankaj was in. But around 4:30 PM, their car got into a crash at Nirsa Bazar on Delhi-Kolkata National Highway-2.
Rescuers quickly took Rajesh and Sabita to Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad. Sadly, Rajesh didn’t make it. Sabita broke her leg but is now stable.
The accident happened because Rajesh, who was driving, tried to avoid hitting another vehicle at Nirsa Chowk. But his car went out of control and hit a divider.
Pankaj Tripathi is famous for acting in movies and TV shows like ‘Sacred Games’ and ‘Mirzapur.’ Pankaj Tripathi, recognized for his versatile performances in both cinema and television, has graced screens in notable productions such as Netflix’s ‘Murder Mubarak’ and ‘Main Atal Hoon.’
